Elkanah, brother of Johanna of Chuza

From Wiki Maria Valtorta
Native of Bethlehem in Judah like Jesus, he is of royal lineage like his sister Joanna and his brother Eliel.
"They live in seclusion, but their opinions are always highly thought of in Israel!"[1]
He is a prince of royal blood, "descendants of David’s valiant men [...] the first by the holy king’s side, the first by the Maccabees".[2]

This is undoubtedly the Gadites who rallied to David when he was taking refuge in the desert, and the congregation of the Assideans who rose up with the Maccabees.

Apostolic journey

He will join, with his brother, a persecuted Jesus:
"We were absent when You were strong, we are present now that You are persecuted"[3]
Two other notables will join them: Joel of Abijah called Alamoth and Jude the Assidean.

His name

Elkanah, Elqana, means "God has acquired" - Historical reference: the father of the prophet Samuel.

Where is he mentioned in the work?
