Engannim (En Gannim).

“Here they are in the vicinity of Engannim. It must have been a beautiful little town well supplied with water that came from the hills by an aerial aqueduct, no doubt built by the Romans.”.[1]
The existence of this aqueduct, which now seems to have disappeared, is attested in this 19th-century engraving.[2]

Learn More about this Place

City of the tribe of Issachar, Levitical city mentioned in the Bible[4], located 26 km south of Nazareth. A.-C. Emmerich saw Jesus preaching in the synagogue there, but Maria Valtorta does not report this fact.
