Saul of Kerioth
84 years old. He adored Jesus as a child in Bethlehem. He dies at the synagogue of Kerioth in the arms of Jesus after having seen His future glory.
"I see Him: the Chosen One, the Supreme, the Perfect, descended to us by the power of His love, ascending to the right hand of the Father, becoming One with Him. It is like a real Flesh that I see Him ascend to the Eternal. Shining Flesh! Glorious Flesh! Oh! Radiance of the divine flesh! Oh! Charm of the God-Man! He is the King! Yes. He is the King. Not of Israel: of the world. And before Him bow all the royalties of the earth and all the scepters and all the crowns are destroyed, in the splendor of His scepter and His jewels."[1]
His name
Shaoul means "asked of God." Historical reference: the first of the kings of Israel.
