In 1982, at the instigation of Brother Franjo, often questioned by readers of Maria Valtorta, the seer Marija (photo opposite) transmitted this question to the Virgin: "Can someone who asks, read this book?". The Gospa's answer was: "You can read it." This response perfectly echoes Pius XII's opinion and aligns with the position the Church would define, ten years later, on private revelations.

These testimonies are not negligible because several seers have received, from the Virgin Mary herself, the account of her life. These works are still unpublished.

Vicka, another seer, was more explicit in an interview given on January 27, 1988 to Jan Conell, an American lawyer from the Pittsburgh Center for Peace.
Q - There is a private revelation in four volumes by Marie d'Agréda, called "The Mystical City of God". The Church has approved this four-volume treatise as a private revelation. Do you know anything about it?

A - Yes, of course. Our Lady told me that it is an authentic version of her life.

Q - Are there other books on this subject that Our Lady told you about?

A - Yes. "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me" by Maria Valtorta, in ten volumes – Our Lady says that "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me" is the truth.

Q - How blessed we are to know this, Vicka!

A - Yes, Our Lady said that if a person wants to know Jesus, he must read "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me" by Maria Valtorta. This book is the truth.

Furthermore, at the end of the 1990s, the Valtortian Editorial Center received photos of Vicka praying at the tomb of Maria Valtorta in Florence (Chapel of Santa Annunziata).
