Man carries within him Good and evil, because of the original sin. But it is always the choice, the will of man that makes Good or evil be accomplished. Baptism, the Sacraments, and prayer are among the weapons to avoid doing evil, and therefore not to sin.

In "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me"

    • We have everything within us: Good and evil. We all carry them within us. Upon Good breathes the breath of God. Upon evil breathes Satan.[1]
    • In all the Actions of man there is a possibility of Good or evil depending on the way they are accomplished.[2]
    • Let us bless the Lord who always, out of a particular Good, draws a collective Good.[3]
    • The reflection of Good and evil on the Face.[4]
    • It is enough for me to go to the Temple for the obligatory feasts to know all the Good and all the evil! And Good is less known to us than evil, because Good is humble and does not advertise itself. Evil, on the contrary, sounds its trumpets and makes its words resound, even to the ears of those who do not want to hear.[5]
    • All germs of evil and all Aspirations to Good sleep in man by the loving will of God, by the evil will of Satan who suggests, tempts, excites, while God attracts, comforts, loves. Satan tempts to seduce. God works to conquer.[6]
    • It is always the will of man that makes Good or evil be accomplished. And upon the will of man, the Will of God projects its lights and the will of Satan his poisonous vapors. It belongs to man to embrace the light or the poison and to become righteous or sinner.[7]
