Every faithful person is a "sinner," in that they commit sins, at different degrees, because of the weakness introduced by the original fault. This term also specifically refers to the greatest sinners, that is, those who sin mortally and persist in sin without yet having reached repentance.

- (Jesus): The humility of saying: “I am a sinful man” is already a Baptism that purifies the Heart.[1]
