Jacob of Arbela and his wife
These inhabitants of the Decapolis are parents of Philip, a cruel son. They were about to throw him out. His mother was going to plead for a conversion, which she obtained, from Jesus at the Beautiful Water.
"Your son is over there. I am here. But God is everywhere. I say to God: 'Father, pity this mother.' And God will make his Call resound in the Heart of your son. Go, Woman. One day I will pass through the region of your country and you, proud of your boy, will come to my encounter with him."[1]
