Marian and her sister, daughters of Philip the Apostle
Philip is one of the few apostles to be married like Peter and Bartholomew. From his wife, Mary, he has two daughters, one of whom is called Marianne.[1]
Their two daughters will successively make a vow of virginity: first the eldest,[2] then the second.[3]
