Struggle

    From Wiki Maria Valtorta

The life of man, if he wants to be faithful to God, is fraught with struggles.

In "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me"

    • Then, after the struggle, comes the victory [...] One must have the will to overcome Satan, the faith in God and in His help. [...] Then Satan cannot do us any harm.[1]
    • Why follow me, if following me implies a continual struggle with the enemy within us, with the hostile world, with the Enemy who is Satan?[2]
    • An age-old challenge took place between the Eternal and Satan [...] "Your creatures will always be mine... This dwelling, yours, from which You expelled me, and from which you expelled the only intelligent among your creatures, will remain empty, useless, sad, like everything that is useless." And the Eternal answered the accursed: "This also is in your power as long as your venom is the only one to reign in man. But I will send my Word"... [...] It is the duel of Love against Hatred, of Wisdom against Ignorance, of Goodness against Evil on you and around you.[3]
