Joachim of Capernaum

From Wiki Maria Valtorta

Sanhédriste enemy of Capernaum. He is part, along with Simon, Uriah and Eli, of the group of hostile Pharisees. He causes a scandal in the house of Matthew, a new convert, in the company of Eli the Pharisee[1], at whose house he later dines with Jesus.[2]

One of those, without doubt, who denounce Jesus to the Sanhedrin[3] and in any case who drive him out of the Temple.[4] Probably also one of the instigators of the plot that leads to the arrest of the Baptist, which he was present at, like Eli.[5]

Apostolic journey

He tries, with Uriah, to trap Jesus in the synagogue of Capernaum, with the healing of a man with a paralyzed hand on a Sabbath day.[6] He is found at the funeral of Lazarus, coming for the lack of miracle.[7]

His name
