Conscience

From Wiki Maria Valtorta

The voice of Conscience could be called "voice of God himself speaking inside man" - it is another form of help, not only to encourage the will to perform good Actions or to refrain from doing bad ones, but also as a source of repentance that pushes man to repair the evil committed, so that he can regain the Grace of God, lost in sinning. Lessons on the Epistle of Saint Paul to the Romans, Lesson No. 29[1]

In "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me"

  • The morally good man… the morally sound man… naturally lives the law of the Decalogue.[2] (Jesus)
  • The Soul: the vine, nevertheless has a voice and makes it heard to the free will, a supernatural voice nourished by the supernatural voices that God never refuses Souls: that of the Guardian, that of the spirits sent by God, that of Wisdom, that of the supernatural memories which every Soul recalls even without man being exactly Conscious of it.[3]
  • Man does not rise from sin because he refuses to examine himself, and even if his Conscience, by an unexpected movement, rises within him and cries the truth he did not want to meditate on, man stifles this cry.[4]
