Doctrine

    From Wiki Maria Valtorta

The Doctrine taught by Jesus is one of the pillars of his Mission redemptive mission.

In "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me"

    • My Doctrine is even stricter than that of John, because it forbids resentment. It concerns not so much the exterior as the spirit. You must be born again if you want to be mine. Do you want it?"[1]
    • Summary of Jesus' Doctrine. "What does the Doctrine consist of for You?" Hermas asks. "In the precise knowledge of the Decalogue, in love and mercy. Love and mercy, this breathing, this blood of God, is the rule of my Doctrine and my conduct. And I apply it in all situations of my day."[2]
    • I must act as if the whole world were made up of ignorant but good creatures. To all I give the same Doctrine and thus the sons of Truth and those of Falsehood are separated.[3]
    • Truly, truly I tell you that this Doctrine is not mine, but it is from Him who sent me among you.[4]
    • Teaching of John the Baptist: A master lives as long as his Doctrine lives in his Disciples. And if later he is replaced by a greater master, and for the Disciples of Jesus, by the Master of masters, it is never permitted to forget the words of the first, which prepared us to understand and love with wisdom the Lamb of God.[5]
    • It is not love for Me, it is not that alone that Saves your Souls, but the love of my Doctrine. And my Doctrine teaches fraternal love without distinction of race or fortune.[6]

    • Catechesis of June 3, 1943: For two thousand years I have come to repeat my Doctrine, I have sent my Mother so that by her gentleness she bends you to penance and love. What has it served?[8]
