Sabea the prophetess

From Wiki Maria Valtorta
Daughter of Carmel (her father or mother), Sabéa is descended from Aaron, the brother of Moses, the first of the priests. This virgin virgin widow from the region of Jericho remained with her Family (parents and siblings) following the sudden death of her husband. She begins to prophesy:
"She says that she knows your Face (Jesus) and your voice and that she would recognize you among thousands, while it is proven that she has never left her village and not even her house since the time, fifteen years ago, when her husband died on the eve of the wedding feast; and it is also proven that you have never passed through her village which is Betléchi. And the scribes are awaiting this last proof to declare her possessed."[1]
In a sublime vision, she prophesies the true nature and true Mission of Jesus.[2]

Character and Appearance

Under her mantle of a violet almost black, she wears a heavy woolen garment of ivory white, simply tied at the neck and waist by a cord. And above all, I could admire her beauty of a Woman of mature Age. She may be about thirty years old, and thirty years in Palestine generally equate to at least forty of ours. If the Most Holy Mary is an exception to this rule, for other Women maturity comes early, especially for those who are brunette in Hair and Face, and full-bodied like this one.

She is the classic type of Hebrew Woman. I believe they were like this Rachel and Ruth and Judith, famous for their beauty. Tall, full-figured yet slender, the skin smooth and of a slightly brown pallor, a small mouth with slightly full lips of a bright red, straight, long and fine nose, two deep, dark, velvety eyes in an arc of long, thick lashes, a high, smooth, regal forehead, a rather elongated oval face, and magnificent ebony hair like a crown of onyx. Not a jewel, but a statue's body and a queen's majesty.

Here she rises presenting her long, brown, very beautiful hands, joined to the arm by a fine wrist.[3]

Apostolic Journey

She will share the fate of all those who, like Maria Valtorta, receive great gifts:
"Love her because her fate is very painful, as are all fates similar to hers."
Jesus entrusts her to the mother of Timon of Aëra, the chief persecuted of the synagogue of the "Beautiful Water":
- "Yes, my Lord, and my God. But when I must speak, will I be able to?..."
- "The Spirit who loves you will guide you according to the moment. Do not Doubt His love. Be humble, chaste, simple and sincere, and He will not abandon you. Go in Peace!"[4]

Her Name

Perhaps a variation of Sabbethaï, "born on the day of the Sabbath".

Where is she mentioned in the work?
