Benjamin the boy of Capernaum

From Wiki Maria Valtorta
It is the child who will later allow Jesus to demonstrate how one must be, to his Apostles who were arguing about who was the greatest: He called to him a little child, placed him in their midst, and said:
"Truly I tell you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven."[1]

Character and Appearance

A child of seven to eight years old.

Apostolic Journey

He later became a disciple and marTyred:
"Do you want to know what happened next to Benjamin? He remained the little lamb of the Christ, and when he lost his Great Shepherd since he returned to Heaven, he became the disciple of the one who resembled me more, receiving from his hand the Baptism and the name of Stephen, my first marTyre. He remained faithful unto death and with him his parents, drawn to the Faith by the example of the little apostle of their Family. Is he unknown? Many are those who, unknown to men, are known to me in my Kingdom."[2]

His Name

"Son of my right hand," or "fortunate." Historical: Name of Rachel's son and the last of Jacob’s 12 sons.
