The Bread of Heaven
- Discourse on the Bread of Life: It is my Father who gives you the true Bread, the new Water Bread, the eternal Bread that comes down from Heaven, the Bread of mercy, the Bread of Life, the Bread that gives Life to the world, the Bread that satisfies every hunger and removes every weariness, the Bread that gives to whoever takes it eternal life and eternal joy. … Truly, truly, I tell you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink his Blood, you will have no life in you. – Capernaum – April of the third year.[4] and [5]
- Jesus explains the episode of the Bread of Life: "I am going to my destiny that presses me. God and man spur me on, and I cannot stop. Love goads me and hatred spurs me. Whoever loves me can follow me. But the Master no longer chases after the rebellious sheep."[6]
- Schism of the Disciples after the discourse on the Bread of Life: Some have detached themselves from Me... and I have suffered because of it. They were those who still wanted to act according to their spirit. Pride is the lever that overturns minds, and the magnet that tears them from me. Do not curse those who have left me.
